The Opportunity
Join Stantec's expanding Ireland team as a Process Engineer, working on impactful infrastructure and environmental projects nationwide. You will be part of a multidisciplinary group collaborating with civil, mechanical, electrical, and environmental experts to deliver comprehensive solutions supporting sustainable water, wastewater, and environmental systems.

Role Overview
As a Process Engineer, you will lead the design and development of water treatment solutions across diverse projects. Key responsibilities include conducting process calculations, mass balances, and performance evaluations to engineer dependable and efficient treatment systems.
You will determine appropriate treatment processes and equipment—such as coagulation, filtration, membrane technology, disinfection, and sludge management—and provide technical supervision from design through construction to commissioning phases.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external partners, you will review contractor and vendor submissions and assist project managers with technical advice on risk, costs, and scheduling, ensuring adherence to regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
Your Impact
Your expertise will contribute to delivering safe, reliable, and sustainable water infrastructure supporting communities across Ireland. You will develop effective treatment designs that improve water quality and enhance the resilience of water systems for future demands.

Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Process Engineering or related discipline.
- Chartered Engineer status or active pursuit of chartership or equivalent professional registration.
- Demonstrated experience designing water and wastewater treatment facilities, preferably on projects for Uisce Éireann or other water utilities.
- In-depth technical knowledge of water engineering principles, regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
