Overview
The Warehouse Manager at Ninja plays a pivotal role in leading all warehouse activities to ensure seamless receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. This position demands effective staff management, rigorous inventory oversight, and continuous process enhancements to boost operational productivity. Attention to detail, robust leadership qualities, and exceptional organizational skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the distribution center (DC).
- Analyze and monitor the effectiveness of receiving, storage, picking, and inventory reconciliation activities.
- Ensure operational and service key performance indicators (KPIs) are met consistently.
- Maintain inventory accuracy while reducing shrinkage and losses to a minimum.
- Lead initiatives driving continuous improvements and enhancing operational efficiency.
- Manage the DC budget, including costs related to manpower and materials.
- Collaborate with departments such as transportation, store operations, commercial teams, finance, and human resources.
- Prepare and deliver weekly operational performance and inventory reports to the director.
- Plan distribution center capacity and ensure preparedness for peak seasons.
- Address and resolve operational challenges promptly, implementing necessary corrective measures.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain storage quality standards.
Requirements
- A minimum of six years' experience in warehouse management or logistics operations.
- Demonstrated strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software.
- Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain processes and inventory control practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related discipline is preferred.
