Role Overview
Join Teneo Studio's Film Team as a Video Editor to spearhead post-production for compelling film and digital content projects. This role suits a highly creative and seasoned editor passionate about brand-driven storytelling and visual media. Combining technical precision with creative expertise, you will oversee video editing with a keen sense for narrative flow, detail, and pacing. Working in a fast-paced collaborative environment, you will be instrumental in delivering impactful content across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the editing of branded video content for digital, social, and corporate platforms.
- Partner with producers, designers, and stakeholders to craft visual stories aligned with strategic goals.
- Enhance content using advanced editing and motion graphics techniques.
- Ensure consistency and quality across all deliverables.
- Manage several projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and standards.
- Communicate creative concepts and finalized edits clearly to internal teams and clients.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to improve video outcomes.
- Optimize post-production processes including file management, archiving, and asset organization.
- Troubleshoot editing software and technical issues regarding formats, codecs, and delivery.
- Stay updated on industry advancements, including AI-driven creative tools, and integrate innovations to boost efficiency and quality.
Qualifications
- More than five years of professional experience editing videos, preferably in branded, corporate, financial, news, or social media sectors.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite programs such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
- Strong skills in motion graphics and animation development.
- Experience utilizing generative AI tools to improve content creation workflows.
- Comprehensive knowledge of video formats, codecs, and post-production pipelines.
- Exceptional storytelling ability, visual composition, and pacing skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management competence capable of balancing multiple priorities.
- Ability to operate independently while engaging effectively within a creative team environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to delivering superior quality work.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for articulating ideas and creative reasoning.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range offered for this position is $115,000 to $125,000 annually, variable based on qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include annual bonus eligibility, 401k matching, comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, vision), long-term disability, life insurance, commuter benefits, flexible time-off policy, team events, and workplace snacks.
Work Arrangement
This is an on-site position based in New York, with a hybrid flexible policy. Employees are expected to be present at the office at least three days per week to foster collaboration.
