Role Summary

The Video Editor will be responsible for the entire video production process that supports digital marketing and market awareness initiatives focused on investment and resource industries. This includes planning, editing, and producing video content by assembling raw footage, selecting and ordering clips, adding graphical elements, titles, and simple animations, as well as integrating sound, music, and voice-over to produce clear and compelling videos.

The position requires collaboration with marketing and subject matter experts to accurately interpret briefs, maintain consistent branding, and ensure messaging aligns across all video materials. Further responsibilities involve optimizing videos for various digital platforms, organizing files methodically, and maintaining high-quality standards within deadlines. This role is part-time and remote, requiring availability aligned with Eastern Time (ET) zone.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency with professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Experience in graphic design, motion graphics, basic animation, and visual narrative techniques to create engaging digital video content.
• Skilled in sound design including audio editing, sound mixing, and seamless integration of music and voice-over components.
• Knowledge of digital marketing and social media strategies, including best practices for video format, length, and messaging optimization across platforms like YouTube, LinkedIn, and X.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in film, media production, graphic design, or communications.
• A portfolio demonstrating relevant video production work is mandatory.
• Must be located in and able to work within the Eastern Time zone.
