Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for a Vice President, Senior Auditor to join our Global Finance Audit team based in Dublin. This role entails participating in global and regional audit reviews across prudential areas such as treasury, finance, and risk management. The auditor will be involved throughout the Internal Audit lifecycle, including planning, fieldwork, reporting, and validating the corrective actions implemented by businesses to address risk and control concerns.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in audit reviews globally or regionally covering treasury, finance, and risk management domains.
- Collaborate closely with key business stakeholders and global Internal Audit colleagues to foster strong partnerships.
- Support Internal Audit’s continuous monitoring initiatives to remain aligned with evolving risk environments.
- Execute additional tasks and projects assigned by senior audit management as needed.
- Utilize advanced analytical problem-solving skills to lead resolution of complex issues and propose innovative solutions.
- Demonstrate self-motivation and a proactive approach, incorporating AI technologies to enhance daily auditing activities.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, Internal Audit, or a closely related discipline. Professional certifications such as FRM, CPA, CFA, or CIA are advantageous.
- Have 7-10 years of relevant experience in audit or consulting, particularly involving treasury, financial accounting, regulatory reporting, financial risk management, and data management, with a strong interest in third line defense functions.
- Display prior experience in auditing or similar specialized areas.
- Exhibit strong skills in interpreting analytical results applicable to auditing, along with critical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, particularly collaborating with remote teams.
