Overview

This role is offered through a partner company responsible for managing applications and subsequent recruitment steps. The position is for a Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis located in the Netherlands, within a fully remote, fast-growing global technology firm. The successful candidate will steer the financial planning and analysis functions, working in close collaboration with the CFO and senior leadership to guide financial strategy, promote long-term growth, and provide insight-driven data to influence critical business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the Financial Planning & Analysis team on a global scale, delivering strategic financial advice across various business units and international branches.
Develop and enhance budgets, forecasts, financial models, and long-range plans to sustain business expansion.
Provide comprehensive financial reporting consisting of scenario analyses, KPIs, and performance insights for executive management.
Collaborate intimately with the CFO and leadership on strategies involving capital distribution, investments, and mergers and acquisitions.
Foster strong ties with investors and stakeholders via detailed executive summaries, board documentation, and finance updates.
Drive ongoing enhancements in financial analytics, reporting, and operational processes through data-led decision making.
Lead and nurture a high-performing FP&A team promoting collaboration, accountability, and career growth.
Identify and communicate financial risks, opportunities, and initiatives to bolster long-term organizational value.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum of 10 years' experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or an affiliated field; advanced credentials like MBA or CPA are highly favorable.
Demonstrated background within rapidly expanding global companies in software, technology, fintech, SaaS, or payment sectors.
Experienced in private equity-backed environments with direct collaboration with investors and executive teams.
Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, scenario planning, and strategic analysis.
Strong communication proficiency with experience in presenting financial insights to executive boards and investors.
Skilled in managing distributed finance teams and cultivating talent in remote work settings.
Sharp analytical skills, business acumen, meticulous attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
Collaborative leadership approach with excellent stakeholder engagement and a strong sense of ownership.
