Role Overview

The full-time Valuation Analyst will work remotely to support Zschool's educational and corporate partnership efforts by conducting detailed financial and valuation analyses. Core tasks include performing business valuations, developing and updating financial models, and assessing the performance and return on investment of educational programs and strategic initiatives. The analyst will gather and interpret financial and operational information, create comprehensive valuation reports and presentations, and collaborate internally to inform pricing strategies, partnership arrangements, and strategic planning. Additionally, this role contributes valuable analytical perspectives to marketing and business development efforts to ensure the financial viability and strategic positioning of programs.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical abilities to decipher complex financial and operational data, delivering clear and actionable insights.
• Expertise in business valuation techniques to evaluate the financial status and success of programs and partnerships.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and broader finance principles to support forecasting, ROI evaluation, and scenario analysis.
• A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a similar discipline; advanced degrees or certifications such as CFA or ASA are advantageous.
• Advanced skills in Excel and relevant financial analysis tools; knowledge of data visualization or business intelligence platforms is a plus.
• Effective communication of intricate financial concepts through written reports and presentations, along with the ability to collaborate efficiently in a remote work setting.
• Meticulous attention to accuracy, and capability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines consistently.
