About the Role

City of Casey is seeking a Turf Crew member to help maintain high-quality sports surfaces at Casey Fields in Narre Warren, Victoria. You will work as part of a committed team to keep playing areas safe, attractive and suitable for community users as well as elite sporting clubs.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Keeping sports turf and playing surfaces maintained to the required standard.
  • Using turf maintenance machinery and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Carrying out irrigation, mowing, line marking and turf renovation work.
  • Preparing ground surfaces for sporting events and general community use.
  • Spotting and reporting problems with turf, irrigation systems and other site assets.
  • Helping build a safe, efficient and cooperative team culture.
  • Applying turf-approved products in a safe manner.

What You Will Need

  • Hands-on experience in sports turf, parks, horticulture or grounds maintenance.
  • Understanding of turf care methods and maintenance practices.
