Company Overview
Glen Aine Foods is an established producer of cooked meats that started out as a butcher shop in Hospital, County Limerick, and has since developed into a modern meat manufacturing facility serving customers throughout Ireland. The business is now fully owned by Lisavaird Co-operative Creamery Ltd and operates from a rebuilt site that holds BRC Double Grade A accreditation and is included in the Bord Bia Quality Assurance Scheme for cooked beef and ham. Based in an area with a long tradition of ham and bacon production, the company combines heritage, quality, and innovation to supply major distributors, retailers, manufacturers, and foodservice customers with a wide range of meat formats and flavours.
Role Summary
This is a hands-on factory role focused on preparing handmade ham to match specific customer specifications. You will work within the production team and coordinate with colleagues and supervisors to help maintain consistently high product quality.
Key Duties
Your day-to-day work will centre on meat trimming and related processing tasks in a food production environment.
- Support the factory processing team in the production of handmade ham to precise customer requirements.
- Collaborate with fellow operators and management to help ensure the finished product meets the highest quality standards.
Experience and Requirements
The company is looking for someone with practical knife-handling experience, good communication skills, and a strong ability to work as part of a team. Applicants must also have access to their own transport or another reliable way to reach the workplace.
Working Pattern
This position follows a Monday to Friday schedule.
