Travelling Head Person

Role Overview

We seek a seasoned and dependable Travelling Head Person to become a key member of our team for the forthcoming racing season based in Oxfordshire.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport horses safely to racing events.
• Take charge of packing and organizing all racing equipment.
• Prepare horses for races and handle leading duties at race meetings.
• Drive the horse lorry consistently during travel.
• Engage in daily riding activities with the team when not attending races.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Proven experience is necessary, specifically with driving a 3.5-ton lorry.
• Possession of a valid full driving license is mandatory.
• Demonstrated skills in riding horses (including hacking and exercising).
