Overview
We are seeking a Master Black Belt to lead and maintain Qatar Airways Group's Lean Six Sigma capabilities through the Process Excellence Academy. This role is responsible for designing, delivering, and certifying White, Yellow, Green, and Black Belt training programs while ensuring methodical quality and the effective realization of business improvements at an enterprise scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the enterprise authority on Lean Six Sigma methodologies, tools, and standards to guarantee consistent implementation across the group.
- Develop, govern, and continuously improve the Lean Six Sigma operating model aligned with best practices and organizational needs to sustain methodological rigor.
- Position Lean Six Sigma as a key driver within the Process Excellence framework to maximize organizational value from improvement efforts.
- Manage the Lean Six Sigma curriculum and deliver Green Belt and Black Belt training programs aligned with business priorities to build internal improvement capacity aligned with strategic ambitions.
- Coach and mentor improvement candidates through project lifecycles to ensure high quality, consistency, and successful outcomes.
- Function as the final certification authority, basing approvals on value-driven, evidence-based results with financial validation rather than just academic requirements.
- Oversee Lean Six Sigma projects' quality and consistency through project selection, tollgate reviews, and governance processes to assure outcome delivery.
- Collaborate with Finance to establish baseline metrics, validate benefits, monitor benefits realization, and intervene on at-risk projects to uphold methodological discipline.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years relevant experience.
- Master Black Belt certification from a recognized authority or equivalent demonstrable experience deploying Lean Six Sigma at an enterprise level.
- Proven expertise in designing and delivering Green Belt and Black Belt training, coaching candidates, and serving as a certification authority.
- Experience integrating Lean Six Sigma with Process Mining, Task Mining, Automation, and digital transformation efforts.
- Track record of building and maintaining a group-wide community of practice for Green and Black Belts.
