About the Role
A prominent global multi-strategy hedge fund is expanding its New York operations team by adding a dedicated trade operations professional. This opportunity supports the company's ongoing growth across diverse investment strategies, requiring interaction with portfolio managers and traders to support multiple asset classes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage trade capture and allocation processes across various desks.
- Oversee lifecycle management of trades including reconciliations and profit & loss investigations.
- Perform break troubleshooting and resolution to ensure accuracy in trading activities.
- Collaborate closely with portfolio managers and traders to optimize trade processes.
- Contribute to risk mitigation initiatives as the trading platform scales.
- Drive continuous process enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce operational risk.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Possess 2 to 5 years of experience in middle office or trade support roles.
- Demonstrate exposure to multiple asset classes such as equities, fixed income, derivatives, and foreign exchange.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively between trading and operations teams.
- Strong analytical capabilities for investigating P&L discrepancies and trade breaks.
