Role Overview
There are several openings for Technical Team Leads tasked with directing recently formed squads across different domains. Teams use contemporary development methods, cloud-native systems, and automated delivery pipelines to support a global clientele. As a lead, you will manage a small group of 4-6 engineers, guiding technical standards, and promoting best engineering practices. Responsibilities include technical design, architectural decisions, delivering complex feature sets, and ensuring code quality and maintainability.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 4-6 engineers by defining technical direction and exemplifying excellent engineering standards.
- Create and maintain technical design documents and participate in key architectural choices.
- Build robust and complex software features aligned with project requirements.
- Develop scalable, maintainable, and clean code across full software stack.
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines, implement automation, and contribute to infrastructure-as-code efforts.
- Craft dependable unit tests and maintain high code quality benchmarks.
- Perform senior-level code reviews focusing on system resilience and maintainability.
- Refactor foundational framework elements to improve scalability and performance.
- Engage in cross-domain technical discussions influencing the broader platform landscape.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve scaling, performance, and user experience issues.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven senior software engineering experience with leadership in delivery and quality assurance.
- Strong background in software design and complex problem-solving.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and cloud-native architecture.
- Working knowledge of technologies such as Go, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Experience with AWS services and cloud environments.
- Comfortable adopting new programming languages and technologies swiftly.
- Deep understanding of object-oriented design patterns and modular architecture.
- Experience designing, building, and consuming APIs using modern standards.
- Proven involvement in DevOps practices and deployment processes within collaborative software teams.
