Role Overview
The Technical Business Analyst will support AI and cloud-focused initiatives by combining project coordination, business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and technical understanding. The role sits in Singapore and requires close collaboration with business users, technical teams, clients, and vendors.
Project Management
- Support AI and cloud project delivery from kickoff through implementation and closure.
- Keep track of milestones, timelines, dependencies, deliverables, issues, and risks to help ensure smooth execution.
- Lead or support project meetings, workshops, and working sessions with clients, business teams, technology groups, and vendors.
- Follow up on action items and decisions promptly and keep communication moving.
- Create and update project records such as documentation, status summaries, presentations, meeting notes, and management briefings.
- Assist with governance and reporting by surfacing risks, blockers, and progress updates accurately.
Business Analysis
- Collect, analyse, and record business needs, functional requirements, process maps, and user stories.
- Work with stakeholders to clarify objectives and turn them into practical deliverables for technical teams.
- Organise requirement review sessions and contribute to solution design conversations.
- Help assess business workflows and identify improvement opportunities enabled by technology.
Cloud and AI Support
- Use working knowledge of cloud concepts, especially AWS architecture and services, to support discussions and implementation work.
- Partner with technical teams to understand cloud solution design, architecture decisions, and integration needs.
- Support initiatives involving generative AI, including LLMs, AI agent platforms, and enterprise AI solutions.
- Help evaluate cloud and AI use cases from the perspective of value, operations, and implementation effort.
- Stay current with new AI and cloud developments, trends, and best practices.
Stakeholder and Vendor Management
- Act as a bridge between clients, internal teams, and external vendors so project goals, schedules, and deliverables stay aligned.
- Enable communication between business and technical stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Arrange technical discussions, requirement reviews, and project progress updates with relevant parties.
- Manage expectations and help resolve issues to keep delivery on track.
- Promote strong collaboration across cross-functional teams and external partners.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a similar discipline is required.
- Background in business analysis, project coordination, project management, technology consulting, or similar work.
- Prior exposure to technology, cloud, digital transformation, data, or AI initiatives is needed.
- Understanding of cloud computing fundamentals and AWS services/architecture.
- Familiarity with generative AI, AI agents, LLMs, and comparable tools or platforms such as Claude.
- Experience documenting business and functional requirements is expected.
- Ability to explain technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong skills in stakeholder handling, facilitation, communication, and presentations.
- Good analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, organisation, and documentation skills.
- Capable of managing several priorities and deliverables in a fast-moving project setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
