Role Overview

We are seeking a Talent Lead to establish and lead Squint's recruiting efforts from inception. This hybrid role requires managing end-to-end recruitment for key roles across departments, while also developing recruiting infrastructure, processes, and employer branding to attract talent in the competitive AI space.

  • Conduct full recruitment cycles including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring critical positions in Engineering, Go-To-Market, and other teams.

  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to convert broad staffing goals into targeted hiring plans and maintain consistent evaluation standards.
  • Enhance Squint's external talent brand presence through improved candidate communication, event participation, and online engagement.
  • Contribute to the development of People Operations functions like onboarding, system management, and early performance evaluation processes.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience founding or significantly expanding a recruiting function, ideally in high-growth startup environments.
  • Balance efficiency with maintaining strong candidate experience and high hiring standards.
  • Able to work directly with company founders and senior executives on pivotal hires.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and establishing recruitment processes from the ground up.

Qualifications

  • At least six years in recruiting, with a solid history of managing full recruitment cycles for both technical and GTM positions.
  • Experience building or scaling recruiting organizations within fast-developing startups.
  • Skilled at managing relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders.
