Schedule & Location

Working hours are Monday to Friday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The position is based at postal code L3M 1P2 in Hamilton, Ontario.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct frequent patrols of designated sensitive sites to identify suspicious activities
• Validate identities and manage access to secure zones
• Act promptly and effectively in response to threats or emergencies
• Ensure alarms and security cameras are operational
• Record incidents and document measures taken
• Attend alarms and perform on-the-spot inspections
• Coordinate with law enforcement during major incidents
• Assist nursing staff with retraining processes
• Support personnel by addressing concerns and escorting employees to parking areas

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in Canada
• Valid security officer license
• First aid certification
• Physical capability to stand and walk for entire shift duration
