We are developing the foundational operating system for autonomous businesses. Our vision is to enable companies to scale efficiently without needing to increase their headcount. Astra OS is a multi-tenant AI-powered platform featuring over 31 specialized AI agents that handle critical business functions including sales, HR, marketing, operations, finance, and customer support.

Our current MVP includes features such as CRM, AI-driven workflows, WhatsApp automation, voice AI capabilities, integrations with MCP, agent memory, and an AI marketplace.

Your Role and Mission

As a System Engineer, your primary focus over the coming year will be to:

Prepare Astra OS for production deployment.
Enhance the platform's scalability.
Design and implement a secure multi-tenant system architecture.
Lead the engineering efforts surrounding AI development.
Launch new AI agent functionalities on a weekly basis.
Experiment with cutting-edge AI technologies including Claude Code, GPT Codex, and autonomous coding agents.
Contribute to building and nurturing the engineering culture within the company.
Potentially advance to the role of Chief Technology Officer.

Essential Qualifications

Between 5 to 10 years of relevant software development experience.
Proficiency with TypeScript and Node.js development.
Experience with React for frontend development.
Strong understanding of PostgreSQL database management.
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.
Knowledge of caching mechanisms like Redis.
Experience working with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS or GCP.
Expertise in SaaS product architecture, especially multi-tenant systems.
Proficiency in implementing secure authentication mechanisms.
Skilled in developing RESTful APIs.
Experience using Git for version control.

Highly Desirable Experience

Working knowledge of AI frameworks and tools including Claude Code, GPT Codex, Cursor, Windsurf, MCP, LangGraph, LangChain.
Hands-on experience with AI SDKs such as OpenAI and Anthropic.
Familiarity with AI agents and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes).
Understanding of event-driven software architecture.
