Overview
We are partnering with a top FMCG organization seeking a Supply Chain Planner to oversee the planning, procurement, and inventory of a wide-ranging product lineup. This role suits a supply chain specialist who thrives in balancing demand forecasting, supplier collaboration, inventory control, and order fulfillment in a dynamic distribution setting.
Key Duties
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts and replenishment strategies for a portfolio of approximately 30 to 50 SKUs across various suppliers and business divisions.
- Ensure product availability while carefully managing inventory to reduce costs and minimize risk of expiry.
- Create and track purchase orders, coordinate with production teams, confirm orders, and manage shipping timelines.
- Liaise with freight forwarders and logistics partners to guarantee on-time deliveries and swiftly address any shipment delays or operational challenges.
- Monitor stock levels and health, allocate inventory across business units, and generate regular inventory and performance analyses.
- Proactively manage near-expiry stock to avoid losses through write-offs or provisions.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with international suppliers, sharing monthly shipment plans and conducting regular performance reviews.
- Resolve supplier issues expediently and collaborate to enhance service quality, reduce lead times, and optimize the supply chain.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Between 5 and 8 years of relevant experience in supply chain, demand planning, inventory management, procurement, or order processing within FMCG distribution or retail sectors.
- Practical experience collaborating with suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and ability to manage various stakeholders effectively.
- Negotiation skills and capability for building enduring supplier relationships.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel alongside working knowledge of ERP systems.
- Attention to detail, adaptability, and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
