Role Summary

Reporting directly to the Director of Supply Chain, the Supply Chain Operations Manager will be Ogee’s central operational liaison connecting third-party logistics (3PL) partners, retailers, and internal teams. This person leads operational execution, optimizes fulfillment center outcomes, ensures retailer compliance, manages chargeback mitigation, and drives cross-functional programs enhancing Ogee's growth in direct-to-consumer and wholesale segments.

This role acts as the operational coordinator across Supply Chain, Finance, Wholesale, Ecommerce, and Customer Experience teams, ensuring seamless management of inventory flow, order fulfillment, retailer requirements, and strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage 3PL and fulfillment partners to ensure precise inventory control, high fulfillment standards, and adherence to service agreements, acting as the main escalation point for operational issues and conducting regular reviews to improve cost-efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Serve as the primary operation contact for vendors such as SPS Commerce, freight services, and future partners; oversee vendor performance metrics, contracts, quarterly and annual business reviews, and continuous process improvements.
• Coordinate retailer onboarding, EDI integration, compliance with retailer requirements, routing guide adherence, ASN accuracy, and communication efforts to support partnerships with major retailers like Sephora, Ulta, Nordstrom, Bluemercury, QVC, Amazon, and e-commerce outlets.
• Lead retail compliance and chargeback management efforts by handling deductions, compliance reporting, dispute resolution, and corrective action plans in partnership with Wholesale, Finance, and Customer Experience teams as well as external partners.
• Monitor and analyze retailer scorecards covering routing guide compliance, ASN accuracy, labeling, shipment timeliness, EDI performance, fulfillment precision, and OTIF metrics to guide operational control improvements and minimize financial penalties.
• Direct cross-functional projects including warehouse transitions, new system implementations, retailer onboarding, and EDI enhancements while managing timelines, risks, and communications across multiple departments and partners.
• Establish and uphold operational KPIs reporting frameworks to track fulfillment performance, inventory accuracy, vendor reliability, freight costs, chargeback metrics, scorecard results, ASN accuracy, and service levels, providing actionable insights to leadership.
• Collaborate closely with the Director of Supply Chain on inventory management, planning, reconciliation, and execution while proactively addressing risks that may affect service levels or financial outcomes.
• Drive operational strategies focused on efficiency, scalability, and quality in fulfillment, logistics, compliance, and vendor management, including the creation and deployment of standard operating procedures and best practices.
• Lead and develop the supply chain operations team, setting clear goals, providing coaching and feedback, prioritizing workload, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous growth.
• Oversee the integrity and accuracy of product master data within 3PL warehouse management systems, managing data governance, audits, and change controls to ensure consistency and reliable reporting.

Candidate Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain operations, logistics, fulfillment, or operational management.
• Proven track record managing third-party logistics providers and operational vendors.
• Experience supporting both DTC and wholesale channels.
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional projects and operational initiatives.
• Preferred experience with retailer compliance and chargeback programs.
• Experience working with prominent retail partners such as Sephora, Ulta, Nordstrom, department stores, specialty retailers, or large wholesale accounts is a plus.
• Background in beauty, cosmetics, skincare, apparel, consumer goods, or CPG sectors is advantageous.

• Comprehensive knowledge of fulfillment operations, retailer compliance, EDI systems, chargeback management, and supply chain workflows.
• Experience with SPS Commerce or similar EDI platforms.
• Familiarity with retailer routing guides, ASN protocols, OTIF metrics, retailer scorecards, and compliance frameworks.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and operational reporting tools.
