Supply Chain Manager

About the Opportunity

This role sits within a respected multinational business that is looking for a seasoned supply chain specialist to lead regional procurement, cross-border logistics, and international trade activities. The position offers the chance to strengthen purchasing approaches, maintain compliance across markets, and support efficient operations throughout Asia.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full procurement cycle for international sourcing, covering supplier discussions, contract handling, purchase order processing, and monitoring vendor performance.
• Plan and coordinate shipments by air and sea, working with freight forwarders, logistics providers, and internal teams to keep deliveries on schedule.
• Maintain adherence to import and export rules, customs procedures, trade paperwork, and applicable regional trade arrangements across Singapore, Malaysia, and China.
• Work closely with Finance, Operations, Warehouse, and external suppliers to support inventory planning and keep supply flowing smoothly.
• Spot and implement improvements in procurement, logistics, and wider supply chain workflows to raise efficiency and lower costs.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in international procurement, logistics, or supply chain functions in a regional or global setting.
• Solid knowledge of global trade rules, INCOTERMS, customs processes, import and export documentation, and freight operations.
• Hands-on experience dealing with overseas suppliers and arranging cross-border shipments within Asia.
• Comfort using ERP or procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
• Strong abilities in stakeholder coordination, negotiation, problem-solving, and communication; Mandarin would be a plus for working with regional partners.
