Role Overview

We are seeking a Supervisor & Assistant Manager to join our team at Gloria Osteria in Dublin (41 Westmoreland St). Reporting to the Front-of-House Manager, your role will be pivotal in delivering impeccable service, leading the front-of-house team, and upholding our core principles of excellence, entrepreneurship, meritocracy, and authenticity daily.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high service quality by ensuring excellence, consistency, and promptness as per Big Mamma’s standards.
• Welcome and engage with guests upon arrival.
• Drive restaurant performance by optimizing table turnover, improving service speed, and enhancing staff efficiency in table resetting.
• Promote sales goals by conducting staff briefings, requesting sales training when necessary, monitoring section heads’ performance, and providing individual coaching.
• Manage front-of-house operations including enforcing hygiene standards, suggesting labor cost control measures, supervising team schedules, overseeing stock and order management for wine, tableware, and aprons.
• Handle cash management responsibly and ensure proper equipment maintenance and use.
• Lead front-of-house team initiatives by participating in recruitment, supporting onboarding, daily coaching, and fostering a positive and cohesive working environment.
