Key Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome and engage customers as they enter the store.
• Respond to inquiries regarding products, pricing, ongoing promotions, and store policies.
• Deliver tailored product suggestions based on individual customer preferences and requirements.
• Employ cross-selling and upselling strategies to contribute towards achieving daily and weekly sales targets.
• Efficiently manage the cash register or POS system for transaction processing.
• Accurately handle payments via cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile wallets.
• Manage returns, exchanges, and store credits adhering to company guidelines.
• Ensure shelves, displays, and racks are consistently stocked and organized.
• Maintain cleanliness and neat organization of aisles, fitting rooms, and counters.
• Support inventory activities including stock receiving, tagging, and pricing.
• Monitor the sales floor to prevent theft and inventory loss.

Qualifications and Candidate Profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; entry-level candidates with no prior experience are welcome, although 1–2 years in retail or customer service is advantageous.
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills to assist customers effectively.
• Basic mathematical skills for handling cash and processing transactions accurately.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, reach, and occasionally lift items weighing between 20 to 30 pounds.
• Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends, evenings, and during holidays.
