Role Overview

As a Store Manager, you will take full ownership of store operations, steering sales targets, motivating and leading your team, and ensuring customers experience the distinctive Under Armour brand. Responsibilities range from merchandising and inventory management to team leadership and operational compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic action plans to meet sales goals and operational KPIs.
• Monitor daily sales trends and reports to adjust strategies promptly for optimal results.
• Lead and enhance store performance across customer service, human resources, inventory control, and visual merchandising.
• Foster customer loyalty by leveraging in-store experiences, data analytics, and omni-channel retailing methods.
• Manage merchandise workflows including receiving, processing, floor layouts, markdowns, and restocking.
• Ensure smooth daily operations and adherence to store policies and procedures.
• Conduct store audits, maintain shrink control, and enforce loss prevention standards.
• Handle payroll and scheduling to drive productivity while aligning labor costs with sales targets.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized retail environment, including sales floor, cash wrap, and fitting rooms.
• Motivate and develop team members through leadership competencies and performance management tools.
• Facilitate effective communication among management to align business strategies and objectives.
• Engage in personal development to enhance leadership capabilities.
• Recruit, hire, and retain skilled employees, managing census and seasonal hiring effectively.
• Execute additional duties as assigned by senior leadership.

Requirements

• Fluency in the local language along with basic proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Capability to interpret sales analytics and operational metrics.
• Understanding of local employment laws and compliance requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective time management abilities.
• Critical thinking skills to analyze complex problems and develop logical solutions under pressure.
• At least 3 years of management experience, including a minimum of 1 year in sports/apparel and footwear retail management.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to support business needs, including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
• Physical ability to handle products weighing up to 25 lbs/12 kg and to stand and move for long periods.
• Full access to all store areas including sales floor, stock rooms, and cashier stations.
