Sterile Services Technician

About the Role

Circle Health Group's Decontamination department based in Aylesford is recruiting for a Sterile Services Technician. This permanent position involves working 37.5 hours per week on a flexible shift basis including days and nights to provide sterilised medical equipment and instruments for surgical and interventional use across hospitals in England and Glasgow.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exemplary sterile services to Operating Theatres, clinical and paramedical departments.
• Support decontamination processes including checking, assembly, packing, sterilisation, and transportation of surgical instruments and related supplies to customers.
• Maintain positive collaborative relationships with all internal customers.
• Ensure health and safety standards are consistently promoted and upheld within the department.
• Regularly check that all equipment meets safety standards and report any faults to the Team Leader or Manager.
• Assist Team Leaders with liaising across departments to guarantee continuous supply of necessary equipment.
• Comply fully with all mandatory training programs and established health and safety procedures protecting staff and visitors.

• Flexibility to work varied shifts as required.
• Immunisation against Hepatitis B is mandatory.
• Previous work experience in a decontamination centre or operating theatre environment is beneficial.

Salary & Benefits

The salary for this position can reach up to £27,805 per annum depending on your experience and qualifications.
