About the Role
We are seeking a devoted and compassionate Staff Nurse to join Mathuram Hospital in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care to patients, supporting medical professionals, and maintaining a safe healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver thorough nursing care aligned with hospital standards and protocols.
- Regularly monitor and record patients' vital signs and health status.
- Administer prescribed medications, injections, and other treatments accurately.
- Support doctors during clinical procedures and medical examinations.
- Maintain precise and updated nursing records and documentation.
- Observe patients vigilantly and promptly report any alterations in their condition.
- Adhere strictly to infection control, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding medications, treatment plans, nutrition, and general care practices.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper organization of nursing stations and patient areas.
- Facilitate proper handover and takeover during nursing shift transitions.
- Respond quickly and appropriately to emergency medical situations.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold patients’ dignity and privacy consistently.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams including doctors, nurses, and other hospital departments.
- Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and directives from supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a B.Sc Nursing degree or GNM certification.
- Open to freshers and individuals with prior nursing experience.
- Must have a valid nursing registration.
