About the Role
Join Armacell and contribute your expertise to influencing early-stage project material selections within the Saudi Arabian construction industry. This role involves leveraging engineering knowledge combined with structured market and project engagement to shape specification success across strategic sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical liaison during specification and tendering phases, ensuring adherence to Saudi Building Codes, Mostadam rules, and local laws.
- Deliver technical consulting, conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training for consultants, major accounts, and project participants.
- Establish and nurture strong professional connections with consultants, specifiers, and key decision-makers in the Saudi market.
- Support project penetration by maintaining an active presence onsite throughout tender and live project stages.
- Prepare technical documentation including submittals, datasheets, and specifications compliant with project needs.
- Identify and chase specification-driven business opportunities aligned with set sales goals.
- Keep up-to-date with market dynamics, competitor movements, and regulatory changes to refine specification and commercial strategies.
- Collaborate closely with sales and internal teams to maintain a transparent project pipeline and facilitate effective lead transfers.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or similar engineering disciplines.
- Between 3 to 5 years of experience in technical sales, specification, or business development within construction-related environments, preferably with established relationships with specifier consultants.
- Solid technical understanding of passive fire protection, insulation, acoustics, or HVAC products.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Saudi construction market, main stakeholders, and relevant codes and standards.
- Proven ability to influence technical decision-makers through compliant and well-supported solutions.
- Competence in converting technical requirements into clear, precise specifications and submittals.
- Methodical and analytical approach to work, coupled with excellent communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders.
- Willingness to frequently be present onsite and actively engage with projects and client accounts.
