Role Overview

We are looking to add a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) Engineer to our team. This role is essential to ensuring that Revel’s software is dependable, secure, and scalable by building and managing infrastructure supporting our continuous testing and integration pipelines. This position offers an excellent chance for early-career engineers to develop a specialized and impactful skill set.

Key Responsibilities

Create, implement, and upkeep hardware-in-the-loop testing systems.
Specify and bring together testing instruments and equipment required for HIL tests.
Manage and expand the HIL build and computing frameworks used in continuous integration processes.
Enhance the efficiency of HIL testing by adopting best practices, developing tools, and improving workflows.
Ensure rigorous documentation, automation, and security standards are upheld throughout deployment activities.

Candidate Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
Between zero and two years of experience in software engineering roles.
Basic proficiency in Python, especially for scripting and automation tasks.
A strong desire to learn about server infrastructure, continuous integration/deployment systems, and embedded testing platforms.

Preferred Experience

Experience with data acquisition systems or environments related to industrial Internet of Things (IoT) or Industry 4.0.
Knowledge of Linux system administration.
Interest or coursework in hardware-software integration, spacecraft, aircraft, or autonomous vehicle technologies.
Experience with the Rust programming language is considered an advantage.

Compensation Details

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $161,000 annually. The final offer will be based on experience, skills, and qualifications. Revel is committed to equitable pay and may adjust the role and salary for candidates with exceptional experience.
