About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with over five years of expertise in C# or Java, coupled with a solid grasp of both languages, and practical knowledge in Angular or React frameworks. This position suits individuals who are passionate about producing clean, maintainable code, adept at problem-solving, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a diverse, cross-disciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

Create, develop, and support advanced software solutions utilizing Microsoft technologies (.NET) alongside Java and Spring Boot.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs secured with protocols such as OAuth.
Adopt software engineering best practices including SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean coding standards.
Maintain a high level of technical competence while understanding the business strategies and applications within Real Estate Secured Lending.
Write efficient SQL queries and manage relational databases.
Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments using Kubernetes technology.
Provide production support, collaborate with the extended team, and assist in release implementation.
Contribute to ongoing enhancements of development workflows, including continuous integration and delivery, version control, and automated testing.

Required Qualifications and Skills

More than five years of professional software development experience with a focus on C# or Java and a strong understanding of the alternate language.
Knowledge of design patterns, SOLID architecture principles, and clean coding methodologies.
Proficiency with OAuth, RESTful APIs, and writing SQL queries.
Experience with cloud computing platforms (preferably Google Cloud Platform) and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
Competency in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one modern front-end framework such as Angular or React.
Familiar with source control tools like Git, along with unit testing and test-driven development methods.
Ability to work autonomously as well as in cross-functional teams.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a curious, proactive attitude.

Preferred Experience

Background in banking or financial services.
Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed computing systems.
Exposure to DevOps methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
Experience using containerization technologies such as Docker.
Awareness of security best practices in software development.
Experience mentoring junior team members and leading technical projects.
Effective communicator capable of explaining technical subjects to non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments.
An eagerness to continuously learn and keep up-to-date with emerging technologies.
