Role Overview
This part-time position, located in Melbourne, VIC, involves planning, producing, and publishing compelling content across social media channels to highlight Steele's collections, campaigns, and brand story.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate photo and video content tailored for social media platforms.
- Write engaging captions and short-form copy to accompany posts.
- Schedule and publish posts while tracking their performance metrics.
- Engage with the community by responding to interactions promptly.
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams to ensure content aligns with brand messaging.
- Support product launches and maintain consistent visual and tonal brand identity.
- Contribute creative ideas for new content and keep abreast of evolving social media trends.
- Assist with on-site events or photoshoots as required.
- Manage and support the influencer gifting program.
Candidate Requirements
- Proficient in social media content creation including copywriting, visual storytelling, and basic photo/video production.
- Experience managing social media brand channels such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook including calendar planning and community management.
- Familiarity with design and content creation tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent software.
- Basic knowledge of social media analytics and understanding of performance metrics to optimize reach and engagement.
- Strong communication skills with meticulous attention to detail and ability to maintain a consistent brand voice.
- A keen sense of style and keen interest in fashion to accurately represent Steele’s aesthetic.
- Ability to convey Australian cultural nuances effectively to an offshore team.
- Capability to work collaboratively in both on-site and offshore team environments managing time well and meeting deadlines.
- Prior experience in fashion, retail, or lifestyle sectors and relevant tertiary education in marketing, communications, media, or related fields is advantageous.

- This role requires 15 to 20 hours of work per week.
