Role overview
We are hiring a creative and motivated Social Media & Content Coordinator to join the marketing function from anywhere in Australia. This full-time remote role is well suited to recent graduates and early-career professionals who are enthusiastic about social channels, content development, and digital audience growth.
In this position, you will contribute to the creation of engaging content, keep social channels active, and support digital campaigns that build brand visibility and strengthen audience engagement. You will collaborate with marketing and creative teammates to shape content plans and review how campaigns are performing.
Location and employment
Australia (remote). Full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Develop, plan, and publish engaging posts for platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and X.
- Support the creation and rollout of social media and content marketing plans.
- Draft captions, blog articles, newsletters, and website copy.
- Watch social engagement and reply to comments and messages when needed.
- Assist with the coordination and delivery of digital marketing campaigns.
- Measure campaign outcomes and compile reports using analytics tools.
- Work with designers and other content specialists to produce polished marketing assets.
- Research market trends, competitors, and audience interests.
- Keep the content schedule organised and ensure publishing happens on time.
- Make sure all material reflects the brand’s tone, style, and guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, Business, or a related discipline.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Good creative thinking and a sharp eye for detail.
- Working knowledge of social platforms and core digital marketing concepts.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools.
- Ability to handle several tasks at once and meet deadlines.
- Well-developed organisational and teamwork abilities.
- Preferred exposure to Canva, Adobe Express, Adobe Creative Suite, or Figma.
- Familiarity with tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, or Sprout Social is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of SEO and content marketing.
- Awareness of Google Analytics or Meta Business Suite.
- Any internship, freelance, university, or personal experience running social media accounts will be considered helpful.
