Company Overview
Mount Revelstoke Shuttle is a regional transport service serving Revelstoke, BC and the surrounding area. It provides safe, dependable shuttle rides for local residents, tourists, and outdoor visitors, including trips to the summit area of Mount Revelstoke National Park.
Role Summary
This full-time, on-site position is for a Shuttle Driver based in Revelstoke, British Columbia. The driver is responsible for operating shuttle vehicles along assigned routes and making sure passengers reach their destinations safely, comfortably, and on schedule.
Key Duties
- Carry out pre-trip and post-trip checks on the vehicle.
- Drive along set routes and stick to the planned timetable.
- Help passengers board the shuttle and handle luggage when needed.
- Keep the vehicle interior tidy, clean, and well organized.
- Communicate courteously and clearly with passengers throughout the journey.
- Follow all road safety rules and traffic regulations at all times.
- Record basic trip details and complete simple reports or logs.
- Stay in contact with dispatch or supervisors about timing changes, delays, weather updates, and road conditions.
Qualifications
- A valid Canadian Class 4 driver’s license and a clean driving history.
- Previous experience driving trucks or shuttle vehicles, with the ability to operate safely in different weather and road conditions.
- Good communication and customer service abilities for professional interaction with passengers and colleagues.
- Capability to perform basic vehicle checks and quickly flag any maintenance concerns.
- A dependable, punctual work style with the discipline to follow route instructions and schedules consistently.
- Availability for flexible working hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays if required.
- Physical ability to remain seated for long periods and assist passengers with luggage or mobility-related support when necessary.
