Role overview
TalentPop is hiring a remote SEO Assistant to support eCommerce brands with search optimization work, performance tracking, and content improvements. The role suits someone who is detail-focused, creative, and comfortable working in a fast-moving, people-centered environment where learning and career growth are encouraged.
What you will handle
- Run SEO audits, perform keyword research, and improve content for search visibility.
- Assist with backlink outreach and review website performance through Google Analytics.
- Maintain product listings, site organization, and Shopify CMS updates.
- Use tools such as Klaviyo to study customer engagement and behavior.
- Prepare reports and keep up with current SEO trends and best practices.
Skills and experience needed
- At least 1 year of SEO experience, ideally in an eCommerce environment.
- Working knowledge of Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, and Excel.
- Exposure to Shopify, Klaviyo, and Google Merchant Center is preferred.
- Strong writing ability; familiarity with Canva or similar design tools is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and stay productive in a remote, fast-paced setting.
Work setup and technical needs
This is a remote-first role. Applicants should have a dependable internet connection with at least 25 Mbps upload and download speed, along with a personal laptop or PC that has an i5 processor or better.
