About Qohash
Qohash is pioneering a zero copy data security control solution that enables enterprises to safely adopt AI by securing data in place without moving or copying it. Their platform, Qostodian, allows organizations to discover, classify, govern, and remediate sensitive unstructured data across critical sources, preserving data sovereignty and reducing exposure. This technology addresses the increasing risks, complexities, and urgency of securing enterprise data amidst growing AI deployment.
At the core of Qohash lies a strong company culture guided by five essential values: pursuit of excellence, resilience, mission focus, accountability, and embracing conflict. These principles foster a performance-driven environment with a higher purpose.
Role Overview
The Senior Strategic Account Executive will be a key revenue driver on the Sales team, responsible for hunting new business opportunities and expanding sales through partner channels. Reporting to the SVP Revenue, this role demands a seasoned sales professional with a strong network within cybersecurity and data security circles, capable of engaging C-level executives including CIOs, CISOs, and CFOs.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and cultivate opportunities within the target customer profile, establishing relationships with channel partners and stakeholders to qualify leads.
- Utilize an established enterprise network and reputation to rapidly access decision-makers at new accounts, shortening sales cycles.
- Analyze target accounts thoroughly to identify key stakeholders and plan engagement strategies for impactful business discussions.
- Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations that clearly communicate Qohash’s benefits in data protection to senior executives.
- Act as a Qohash representative in public forums such as conferences, analyst events, or partner gatherings to support strategic account pursuits.
- Provide precise quarterly sales forecasts and quota updates, maintaining accurate CRM records.
- Engage actively in continuous improvement initiatives and training efforts, mentoring junior Account Executives as appropriate. Travel may be required.
Candidate Profile
Essential Qualifications:
- 9 to 12 years of sales experience in cybersecurity, data security, or related sectors.
- Well-established enterprise relationships with CIO, CISO, and CFO level contacts, with proven success in rapidly converting these into sales pipeline.
- Recognition in the data security or cybersecurity community through public speaking, published thought leadership, or analyst interactions.
- Experience managing channel and partner programs and complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to manage smaller, faster sales where deal velocity is critical.
- Effective working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
- Residency in Alberta, British Columbia, or Ontario is required.
Desirable Attributes:
- Knowledge of Data Security Posture Management, firewalls, SIEM, EDRs, and related security technologies.
- Familiarity with data governance and GRC frameworks and comfortable discussing these at an executive level.
- Experience with sales methodologies such as MEDDIC.
- Industry certifications like CCSP, CISM, or equivalents.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary commensurate with Senior or Principal levels, plus uncapped commission tied to quota attainment.
- Up to six weeks of paid vacation annually.
- Comprehensive employer-sponsored health benefits including life insurance, short-term disability, dental, vision, and a health spending account.
