Senior Specialist - Project Management

About the Role

Join EDGE Commercial's Bidding & Proposals division as a Senior Technical Sourcing Specialist focusing on identifying and sourcing advanced defence technologies for key strategic initiatives. This position involves acting as a Subject Matter Expert in technical domains including Radars, UAVs, Electro-Optics, RF Systems, and Weapons, working collaboratively with bidding, engineering, procurement, and commercial teams to obtain compliant and competitive solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze customer Request for Proposal (RFP) technical specifications to identify appropriate products and suppliers.
• Develop effective sourcing strategies, evaluate suppliers, and perform detailed technical bid analyses.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure sourcing options meet project needs.
• Establish and nurture positive relationships with key vendors and industry partners.
• Stay informed on market trends through benchmarking and participation in industry events to uncover new sourcing opportunities.
• Ensure all suppliers meet required quality, security, and regulatory compliance standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a similar field.
• Have over 10 years of experience, ideally in the Aerospace and Defence sector.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of bid management and technical sourcing techniques.
• Exhibit strong analytical abilities, excellent communication, and proficient stakeholder management skills.
• Capacity to perform effectively under pressure, managing multiple priorities and meeting strict deadlines.
