Job Overview
Lead the entire People/HR technology domain at AD Ports Group, serving as the primary interface for Human Capital & Experience (HC&E) technology requests, strategy, and implementation. This role demands ownership of the full lifecycle of HR and workforce technology platforms, including AI-enhanced and AI-native solutions, ensuring their roadmap, deployment, and operations meet high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete People/HR technology domain, covering relationships, planning, delivery, and operational stability across HR, payroll, talent, and workforce solutions.
- Serve as the dedicated technology liaison for the HC&E function, translating their priorities into actionable technology initiatives.
- Maintain and prioritize a comprehensive People/HR technology roadmap addressing operational, growth, and transformation goals, with special emphasis on AI-driven technologies.
- Convert business requirements into detailed specifications and design solutions, choosing to configure, purchase, or develop as appropriate, ensuring integration and customization needs are met.
- Supervise the development, configuration, enhancement, and integration of People/HR systems via internal teams and external vendors.
- Ensure thorough testing, validation, deployment readiness, change management, and provide post-launch support.
- Oversee People/HR technology projects and upgrades end-to-end, managing timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication.
- Maintain stable daily operations of People/HR applications providing level 2 and 3 support, proactive issue resolution, and system updates.
- Engage stakeholders regularly to keep them informed on priorities, progress, and upcoming changes.
- Manage vendor contracts, service delivery, and performance in collaboration with Procurement and Digital Governance teams.
- Keep detailed documentation, enforce technical standards, and ensure disaster recovery and business continuity readiness for critical People/HR systems.
People Leadership
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary People/HR technology team including specialists, analysts, and engineers.
- Set clear goals promoting accountability, excellence, and business focus within the team.
- Oversee resource allocation, team performance, and timely delivery of initiatives.
- Provide coaching, identify training needs, and facilitate skills development to enhance domain expertise.
- Coordinate internal and vendor personnel to maintain optimal workloads and skills alignment.
Strategic Duties
- Develop and maintain a long-term People/HR technology strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Evaluate current People/HR systems for efficiency and effectiveness, recommending upgrades or consolidations.
- Identify investment opportunities to enhance People/HR technology and support business cases for funding.
- Monitor key performance indicators and reporting on domain status, risks, and achievements.
- Ensure People/HR technology solutions align with enterprise architecture and collaborate with Data, AI, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Digital teams for integrated and secure implementations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT Engineering, Business Technology, or related disciplines; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certifications in HR technology platforms (e.g., Oracle HCM), product management, project management, or service management are advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of HR and workforce application ecosystems including AI technologies, SaaS, on-premises platforms, integrations, and service delivery.
