Role Overview
Park Controls & Communications is hiring a Senior Business Development Executive for its Bengaluru office. The position sits within the Business Development function and reports to the Business Development Manager. The company operates in aerospace and defence electronics manufacturing, with a focus on R&D and production for mission-critical systems used in aerospace, defence, and satellite applications.
What You’ll Do
- Handle front-end selling and support strategic marketing for the company’s products and services.
- Understand the product range and tailor both hardware and software solutions to customer needs.
- Convert client requirements into solution proposals using internal expertise and, when needed, external integrations.
- Work toward sales goals and order booking targets consistently.
- Spot new business opportunities based on market movement and technology trends.
- Track tenders, EoI, RFI, RFQ, and similar channels to generate enquiries.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers in the aerospace and defence space.
- Deliver technical presentations and communicate the value of solutions to clients and stakeholders.
- Explore new use cases, markets, and opportunities for the company’s offerings.
- Collect customer feedback and pass insights into product and solution improvements.
- Support market expansion, customer acquisition, and broader business strategy.
- Improve brand visibility by taking part in industry events, seminars, and exhibitions.
- Review customer satisfaction and help shape retention initiatives.
- Contribute to planning team growth and resource allocation in line with sales objectives.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong grounding in electronics, instrumentation, embedded systems, and solution-led selling.
- Ability to plan and execute go-to-market strategies.
- Comfort with networking in aerospace, defence, and satellite ecosystems.
- Clear communication in English, Kannada, and Hindi.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Goal-oriented attitude with a persuasive and professional approach.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate should hold a B.Tech/B.E. in EEE, ECE, ECS, aviation, instrument, electronics, electronics and communication engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, or aerospace/aeronautical engineering. An MBA is preferred. A minimum of 7 years of business development experience is required, preferably in aerospace and defence. Certifications in sales strategy, government business development, or product management are an advantage. Former entrepreneurs looking to re-enter the workforce are also encouraged to apply.
Additional Requirements
The role requires extensive travel within India and overseas. Candidates are preferably between 35 and 40 years of age.
