Position Overview
Join Nike, Inc. as a Senior Administrative Assistant supporting the Human Resources Talent & Organizational Development team in Beaverton, Oregon. This is an 8-month contract role with hybrid work options, requiring onsite presence Monday through Thursday. You will directly assist senior HR leadership, including the Sr Director of HR Learning and Development and Sr Director of Talent Acquisition, Executive Search & Talent Insights, potentially supporting an additional Sr Director.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex calendars, schedule appointments and meetings, resolve conflicts, and coordinate interactions among leaders and team members.
- Arrange travel logistics including flights, accommodations, transportation, and manage detailed itineraries and documentation.
- Organize meetings and events, including securing venues, managing budgets, catering, agendas, reminders, and liaising with external vendors.
- Prepare and process expense reports, monitor budgets, and handle purchase orders and vendor invoices.
- Create, edit, and format various documents and communications such as organizational charts, high-quality presentations, and session agendas.
- Support communications by drafting, editing, coordinating stakeholder input, managing distribution lists, and sending finalized messages on behalf of leaders.
- Coordinate workspace-related activities, including team space planning and equipment moves, in partnership with relevant stakeholders.
- Assist with special projects by planning, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion aligned with leadership directives.
- Facilitate team and culture initiatives, including organizing staff meetings, team building events, offsites, and maintaining the physical workspace to foster a connected environment.
- Provide administrative support coverage for other leaders as needed and serve as the primary contact for administrative inquiries within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related domain, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in administrative roles, preferably supporting senior executives.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and time-management capabilities with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Experience handling sensitive and confidential information responsibly and with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and virtual communication tools such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams; familiarity with Keynote and AI tools like ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot is advantageous.
- Previous experience working within Nike is a plus.
- Ability to occasionally work outside standard business hours to meet organizational needs.
- Demonstrated ability to function effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous, team-oriented environments.
