Role Overview
As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will be crucial behind the scenes, ensuring that care teams are assigned accurately and timely to meet client needs. Responsibilities include managing schedules, coordinating shift coverage, processing time-off requests, preparing payroll, and supporting staff with daily scheduling requirements. Additionally, you will participate in a rotational weekly on-call schedule to provide after-hours scheduling support, reflecting the continuous nature of care services beyond standard hours.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in scheduling or coordination is essential, with preference for those experienced in unionized or healthcare environments.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to remain calm and creatively solve problems under pressure.
- Strong communication skills accompanied by proficiency in technology tools such as Outlook, Excel, Teams.
- Competence in Microsoft Office Suite and an eagerness to learn new software and applications.
- A collaborative attitude and a good sense of humor are also valued traits.
