Role Overview
This remote contract position as a Sales Manager involves spearheading new business acquisition and managing ongoing client relations within the information risk management and forensic domains. Responsibilities include lead identification and qualification, conducting discovery calls, customizing proposals, and presenting to decision-makers. Key tasks encompass maintaining the sales pipeline, negotiating contractual agreements, collaborating with technical and service teams to align offerings with client requirements, and monitoring performance relative to sales objectives. Additional duties include conducting market research, participating in virtual industry events, and providing feedback to enhance services and messaging. The role requires independent work alongside coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure a consistent and positive client experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development, preferably within cybersecurity, information risk, or similar professional services sectors.
- Strong abilities in lead generation, pipeline management, negotiation, and deal closure, with a consistent record of achieving or surpassing sales targets.
- Capability to comprehend and clearly communicate complex technical or investigative services to non-technical audiences with persuasive clarity.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms, virtual meeting tools, and standard productivity software to effectively manage remote sales processes.
- Outstanding skills in relationship development, stakeholder engagement, and teamwork with a consultative and client-focused sales style.
- High standards of integrity, discretion, and professionalism when handling sensitive client data and confidential matters.
- Self-driven and well-organized, capable of prioritizing multiple opportunities and deadlines while working independently in a remote setting.
- Preferred qualification of a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related fields, with equivalent sales or consulting experience also considered.
- Experience interacting with international clients and knowledge of global markets or regulatory frameworks is advantageous.
