Role Overview
The Planning Coordinator role involves detailed and proactive scheduling to ensure the provision of high-quality, person-centered services. The position supports effective participant care by designing compliant schedules aligned with individual needs and funding restrictions. This role is based in either the Albury or Orange offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain staff schedules that guarantee delivery of person-centered, quality supports to participants.
- Interpret the SCHADS Award and other relevant awards to ensure compliance and cost-effective rostering.
- Engage with staff and managers to facilitate productive rostering outcomes and foster workforce involvement.
- Prioritize and organize work efficiently to deliver required outputs on schedule.
- Compose staff rosters fostering meaningful work engagement and fulfilling employment opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure service delivery properly meets participant requirements.
Candidate Profile
- Comprehensive knowledge of the SCHADS Award and principles of workforce planning.
- Prior experience in rostering within disability, aged care, or community services environments.
- Ability to remain resilient and effective in dynamic, fast-paced settings.
- Strong time management and relationship-building skills to consistently achieve deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail coupled with strong communication skills.
