Role Purpose and Benefits
As a Rooms Technician at The Ritz-Carlton, Doha, you will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of comfort and luxury through skilled technical support. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspection, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, air quality control, and refrigeration units.
- Perform daily mechanical plant inspections and regulate property temperature levels.
- Monitor and analyze consumption of energy and utilities to optimize usage.
- Calibrate controls, gauges, meters, and related devices to ensure accurate operation.
- Install, assemble, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems and electronic wiring.
- Handle assembly, installation, and maintenance of piping assemblies, valves, and fittings.
- Carry out routine maintenance on pools and spa facilities.
- Adhere strictly to safety, security policies, and report any issues or hazards promptly.
- Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality of company information.
- Greet and assist guests consistent with company service standards.
- Communicate clearly and respond appropriately to colleagues’ and guests’ needs to foster positive working relationships.
- Advocate and participate in efforts to enhance organizational efficiency, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
- Physically capable of performing tasks involving reaching, lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance, carrying moderate weights independently, moving on various surfaces, and using ladders or stairs.
- Perform additional reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- Technical, trade, or vocational education background.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a relevant role.
- Mandatory certifications including EPA Universal Certification, valid driver’s license, and HVAC certification.
