Rewards Specialist

Role Overview

This role is pivotal in supporting the Head of Rewards by managing comprehensive rewards processes. The responsibilities encompass data management for annual rewards activities, tracking expenditure and renewals, alongside creating process improvements for rewards programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the annual rewards cycle across multiple regions by handling survey data extraction for benchmarking, conducting data quality checks, and managing spreadsheets related to performance calibration, salary increments, and bonuses for 18 operating locations.
• Manage relationships and submissions for various external salary surveys, handling data validation, survey releases, billing, and technical updates independently.
• Support monitoring market compensation trends, conduct job evaluation activities like position mapping and grading, and participate in internal projects such as job leveling, compensation diagnostics, and grade structure reviews.
• Maintain a comprehensive global benefits inventory.
• Engage in vendor survey participation and manage vendor relations for insurance renewals, extracting benchmark data to support benefit redesigns.
• Facilitate the implementation of Singapore benefit initiatives ensuring governance compliance, collaborate with People Business Partners for bill and eligibility verification, and manage escalations regarding benefits enrollment through the Shared Data Centre.
• Develop process solutions to increase efficiency and reduce manual work in rewards programs using tools such as Power BI and MS Approvals.
• Prepare administrative procedures and communication materials for Singapore benefits and contribute to internal staff communications via intranet planning.
• Contribute to global mobility by assisting annual reviews of local-plus allowances and cost of living adjustments for expatriates.
• Design support mechanisms for the Traveller Safety Management framework, focusing on alert systems and guidance during special caution or warning situations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or related fields.
• 2 to 3 years of HR experience with hands-on work in Compensation & Benefits including salary and benefits benchmarking and analytics on a regional scale.
• Strong knowledge of annual compensation cycles, incentive programs, benefits administration, reward governance, and relevant regulatory guidelines.
• Excellent analytical abilities with proficiency in MS Office, including Power BI, Power Automate, and Excel.
• Detail-oriented, with integrity to ensure precision in reward analytics and proposals.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Experience with Mercer IPE Methodology is advantageous.
• Familiarity with SuccessFactors, HRIS systems, or data analytics tools considered a plus.
