About the Role
Ampol is a prominent Australian convenience retailer committed to providing customers with a seamless and pleasant shopping experience. As a Retail Team Member at our Lake Haven location, your role is vital in maintaining store excellence through merchandising, inventory, and stock management. You will also be responsible for managing POS transactions and cash handling to ensure accuracy and security during shifts.
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer care by prioritizing customer needs and consistently surpassing expectations.
- Assist the Store Manager with daily operations, leveraging your retail experience.
- Work collaboratively with team members to foster a positive and efficient work environment.
- Maintain meticulous attention to safety standards and operational accuracy.
- Be adaptable with your schedule, including availability for weekend and overnight shifts.
Qualifications and Skills
- Prior experience in retail or customer service roles is preferable.
- Competent in operating point-of-sale systems and accurate cash handling.
- Strong communication abilities and effective teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts across a 7-day roster, including overnight and weekend hours.
