About the Role
Based predominantly from home with regular visits to various locations throughout Wales, this full-time role offers a fixed term of 12 months. The working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9am to 5:30pm. The annual salary ranges between £27,000 and £30,000, complemented by a robust benefits package.
Role Overview
As a Resourcer for the Employment, Skills and Training team, your core responsibility involves connecting individuals with impactful employment and training opportunities that drive positive change. You will collaborate closely with Strategic Account Managers and Account Managers to evaluate candidate compatibility, provide assistance through the recruitment process, and assist employers in sourcing the right talent.
This position has significant social impact by facilitating opportunities for individuals to enhance skills and build sustainable careers, thereby benefiting businesses and communities alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate candidates and learners for employment and training, matching their skills and qualifications to employer needs.
- Offer guidance, advice, and constructive feedback to prepare candidates for interviews, training, and new roles.
- Work in partnership with Strategic Account Managers and Account Managers to fully understand vacancy demands and aid in successful placements.
- Foster and maintain constructive relationships with colleagues, candidates, learners, and external partners to sustain a steady flow of qualified applicants.
- Maintain precise records of candidate activities, screening outcomes, and progression using recruitment and CRM systems.
- Analyze screening results, recognize patterns, and suggest improvements to boost candidate quality and recruitment effectiveness.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrable experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, candidate screening, or related employability roles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building trust and engaging diverse individuals.
- Strong organizational capabilities with the ability to handle high workloads while adhering to deadlines.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, recruitment technologies, and Microsoft Office tools.
- A proactive mindset focused on solutions, keen attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid UK driving license is required.
