Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure high performance of consultancy supervision services across designated projects.
• Guarantee project delivery within set schedules, budgets, and quality parameters.
• Provide leadership in project planning, scheduling, and execution, utilizing software such as MS Project or Primavera.
• Conduct regular status meetings with engineers, contractors, and clients to align project objectives.
• Maintain rigorous document control and administrative procedures.
• Manage risk and issue logs efficiently and drive their resolution.
• Serve as the chief liaison for external parties including end-users, asset owners, contractors, consultants, utility providers, and governmental agencies.
• Assist in assessing contractor change requests, claims, and contract-related matters.
• Lead critical discussions and negotiations to resolve project obstacles effectively.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in project supervision and execution, including at least 10 years in Resident Engineer or Project Manager roles managing 2 or more construction projects in the UAE.
• Competency with project management and scheduling tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
• Certifications like PMP and PQP are considered advantageous.
• Strong leadership qualities, analytical thinking, and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• In-depth knowledge of Abu Dhabi regulations, local construction standards, and authority requirements is essential.
• Experience with steel and industrial projects is highly desirable.
• Candidates must currently reside in the UAE.
