About the Role

Zipline is hiring a Recruiting Partner to work closely with hiring managers and support talent hiring across Africa. The role is centered on building strong teams that reflect the company’s values while navigating hiring needs in new markets, evolving timelines, and roles that may not have a standard playbook.

This position requires someone who can do more than source candidates. You will be expected to challenge and advise hiring teams on timelines, compensation ranges, seniority levels, and team structure, while keeping the recruiting process organized, effective, and candidate-friendly.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with teams across Africa to identify, attract, and secure high-quality candidates aligned with Zipline’s mission.
  • Act as a strategic partner to hiring managers on talent availability, outreach strategy, interview design, and related hiring decisions for both new and ongoing roles.
  • Track key recruiting metrics across the full funnel, from sourcing through offer acceptance, and refine approach based on data.
  • Improve recruiting workflows so that hiring is efficient, well-structured, and effective.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of diverse, highly qualified candidates while ensuring an excellent candidate experience.
  • Support Zipline’s commitment to diversity in hiring across the organization.
  • Use a variety of sourcing channels and platforms creatively to engage strong talent.
  • Contribute to Zipline’s growth by helping the team hire exceptional people in a fast-moving environment.

What You’ll Bring

  • At least 5 years of experience in high-volume recruiting across the full hiring cycle.
  • Background in software recruiting is a plus.
  • Strong history of sourcing and hiring operational and/or technical talent successfully.
  • Excellent organization, multitasking ability, and adaptability in a fast-paced startup setting.
  • Genuine interest in building diverse teams and candidate pipelines.
  • Creative approach to solving hiring challenges and improving candidate experience.
  • Willingness to keep learning and operate as a trusted partner to hiring teams.
  • Strong project management, stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to use recruiting metrics to shape data-informed hiring strategies.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Experience with Greenhouse, GEM, and Excel is a bonus.
