ఉద్యోగ వివరణ
Overview
We are looking for a detail-focused and driven QA Testing Engineer to manage end-to-end quality assurance for enterprise Supply Chain Planning software solutions, including platforms like Anaplan and Blue Yonder ESP. The position is based in Hyderabad and requires on-site presence four days weekly, supporting worldwide planning activities aligned with US Pacific Time operations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design and execute test cases covering Demand, Supply, Inventory, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes, along with associated reporting and analytics.
- Conduct comprehensive functional, system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing for business workflows including Master Data Management (MDM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Procure to Pay (P2P), and Order to Invoice (O2I) cycles.
- Validate planning logic, calculations, and data flows within Anaplan and Blue Yonder ESP models, including solver outcomes like pegging, inventory constraints, and balances.
- Document testing procedures, outcomes, and software defects utilizing tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.
- Perform data accuracy and consistency checks across planning systems and related upstream/downstream platforms, including demand feeds, bills of materials, master data, and supply signals.
- Execute SQL queries for data comparison and assist in diagnosing root causes of data discrepancies or planning errors.
- Test integrations and interfaces between planning systems, data platforms, and APIs ensuring scheduled data loads and file reconciliations are successful.
- Support production verification activities including smoke testing after deployments, release validations during planning cycles, and audit documentation.
- Collaborate with model builders, developers, data engineers, and business users; participate in Agile workflows and continually enhance QA processes and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.
- 2-3 years of quality assurance experience, preferably within enterprise applications or supply chain software environments.
- Familiarity with supply chain planning concepts such as forecasting, supply and inventory planning, and S&OP.
- Experience with functional and regression testing and basic proficiency in SQL for data validation.
- Knowledge of defect tracking software like Jira or Azure DevOps, integration testing, and data reconciliation techniques.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication abilities and capability to work across cultural and time zone boundaries in dynamic settings while managing multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Anaplan or Blue Yonder (formerly JDA) planning applications and solver-based planning methods.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle integrated testing.
- Understanding of API and file-based system integrations and Agile project methodologies.
