Role Overview

Tata Consultancy Services is hiring a Python Software Developer with 5 to 10 years of experience. The position is available across Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and New Delhi.

Required Skills

• Advanced Python programming knowledge
• Practical experience with one or more Python web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
• Ability to build and support REST APIs and microservice-based systems
• Working knowledge of SQL databases, especially MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with Git and Agile delivery practices
• Preferred exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong analytical thinking and debugging ability

Responsibilities

• Build, enhance, and support backend systems using Python
• Create secure and maintainable RESTful APIs
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions
• Improve application efficiency, scalability, and overall performance
• Take part in code reviews and assist with production support activities
