Overview

Sri Sakthisaradha Enterprises LLP is seeking a Purchase Officer to join their Bengaluru team. This role involves managing the procurement process efficiently to ensure timely acquisition of goods with favorable terms.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and research potential suppliers to source products.
• Analyze and compare quotations and proposals from different vendors.
• Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements to optimize costs.
• Monitor orders to guarantee on-time delivery schedules.
• Assess the quality of received goods to ensure compliance with standards.
• Maintain accurate records of orders including supplier details, quantities, and prices in internal databases.
• Keep comprehensive files of purchased items, delivery data, and invoices.
• Generate purchase reports incorporating cost analysis data.
• Track inventory levels and initiate purchase orders based on stock needs.
• Collaborate with warehouse personnel to manage proper storage solutions.
• Participate in industry trade shows and exhibitions for market insights and networking.

Requirements and Skills

• Proven experience as a Purchasing Officer, Agent, or related procurement role.
• Strong knowledge of vendor sourcing methods including research, evaluation, and communication.
• Practical familiarity with purchasing management software such as Procurify or Spend Map.
• Clear understanding of supply chain operations and procedures.
• Analytical capabilities to prepare financial purchase reports and perform cost evaluations.
• Excellent negotiation skills to achieve advantageous supplier contracts.
