Role overview

Providence is hiring a Project Manager to support Virtual Care and Digital Health (VCDH). This role focuses on leading the planning, execution, and rollout of enterprise, regional, and collaborative virtual care services across both internal and external Providence customer sites, along with internal VCDH initiatives.

The position owns the full project lifecycle and works closely with sponsors, site leaders, and VCDH partners who help make implementations successful. Key collaborators may include service line leadership, clinical operations, application analysts, licensing and credentialing teams, account management, nursing leadership, and other operational groups connected to VCDH services. The right candidate should be comfortable coordinating across different business units and matrixed teams, communicating clearly with varied stakeholders, and driving projects to completion within agreed timelines.

Required background

• A bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience.
• Formal training in project management, change management, and process improvement approaches such as PMP/PMI, Agile, CAP, Workout, Six Sigma, LEAN, CQIA, or similar methods.
• At least 3 years of experience managing projects and/or programs.
• At least 2 years of experience delivering projects with strong customer satisfaction, solid communication, and careful attention to detail.
• At least 2 years of experience presenting and facilitating for executive-level audiences.

Preferred profile

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification at the time of hire is preferred.
• 2 years of healthcare industry experience is preferred.
• 1 year of telehealth experience is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications is preferred.

Compensation and pay range

The listed base hourly pay range varies by location. Reported ranges include, among others: Alaska (Anchorage) $40.11 to $62.27; Alaska (Kodiak, Seward, Valdez) $41.81 to $64.91; California (Humboldt) $40.98 to $64.88; Northern California excluding Humboldt $46.91 to $72.82; Southern California excluding Bakersfield $41.81 to $64.91; Bakersfield $40.11 to $62.27; Montana excluding Great Falls $32.29 to $50.13; Great Falls $30.59 to $47.49; New Mexico $32.29 to $50.13; Oregon non-Portland service area $37.39 to $58.05; Oregon Portland service area $40.11 to $62.27; Texas $30.59 to $47.49; Washington Western excluding Tukwila $41.81 to $64.91; Washington Southwest (Olympia, Centralia and below) $40.11 to $62.27; Washington Tukwila $41.81 to $64.91; Washington Eastern $35.69 to $55.41; and Washington South Eastern $37.39 to $58.05.

Providence notes that these figures are base pay only and that extra compensation may also be available, including shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
